Maria Grenwood

Maria brings web design to the Sek team. Her passion for creativity and organization result in intuitive solutions in UI design. She received a BFA from UMD in 2007 and has gained over 10 years of experience in graphic and web design since. During her Freshman year, she met the love of her life, Paul, and they have been a design duo working closely together ever since. In 2017 they took on the ultimate minimalist design challenge and built their own tiny home on wheels so they could travel and work from the road full-time.

When not working, Maria can most often be found in a pair of hiking boots or on her mountain bike exploring the region they are currently in and being refueled by the awes of nature.

If you could be any supernatural creature, what would you be and why?

I think adaptability is one of the best traits you can have so I’d choose to be a shapeshifter. What could be better than running through a meadow as an Antelope, climbing a mountain as a goat or soaring through the sky as a Raven?!
