Augusta Symphony, a leading orchestra enriching Augusta, Georgia, and surrounding communities with world-class performances and educational programs, is gearing up for its 70th anniversary season in 2024. Through our partnership, we aimed to establish a unified theme for the 2024 season while promoting each performance with unique, eye-catching designs that showcased the diverse musical themes, guest artists, and repertoire. These visuals would be used across various marketing channels to attract a wide-ranging audience—from seasoned classical music fans to families and students. The challenge was to create a design approach that balanced sophistication with accessibility, ensuring it resonated with the Symphony's broad demographic.
Concept
For Augusta Symphony's 2024 season, we developed a dynamic visual identity that captured the essence of the orchestra's 70th anniversary. The new design elements, including a vibrant logo and cohesive color palette, were inspired by the season's musical themes and compositions. Each concert in the lineup received unique artwork that reflected its specific mood and style, while still aligning with the overarching theme. We adapted these designs for various promotional channels, from print to digital, ensuring a consistent and engaging marketing campaign.
Outcome
Augusta Symphony's 2024 season visual identity serves as a cohesive foundation for marketing efforts, reinforcing the Symphony's brand and generating anticipation among audiences. Each unique design for the season's performances captures the music's essence and the performers' spirit, drawing in concert-goers with eye-catching visuals and compelling messaging. Flexible Season Branding
We development Augusta Symphony's 2024 season branding with flexibility in mind. Ultimately, we wanted the internal Augusta Symphony marketing team to be able to promote the upcoming season, as well as individual shows, a cross a wide variety of mediums. Artwork for the season and concerts was leveraged to design show posters, social media assets, digital banners, and program covers. See more below!
