Augusta Symphony | 2023 Season Branding

Challenge

The Augusta Symphony is a perfect example of how we love to become an extension of an organization’s team. The Augusta Symphony has marketers and designers on staff, but brought us in to bring new creative energy to their 2023-2024 season branding. The new season branding would need to be dynamic to be used with all the varying performances throughout the year. On top of that, it also had to be flexible enough to be used on program booklets, posters, social media, and other promotional avenues.

Solution: Season Branding

Like any project we work on, our first step is discovery. We dove head first learning all about the Augusta Symphony. Its roots, past seasons, the vision for its future, audience goers, and more. Armed with plenty of background, we got to work concepting looks for the upcoming season. The theme of the season is American Perspectives, with the goal of  bring sounds from across the country to life on the stage.

We created a season branding system with a unique and flexible color pallet, typography, textures, and imagery. These all came to form through the season logo, social ads, posters, and program book covers. However, since the Augusta team already has the skills to carry out the season’s brand, a lot of what we delivered was editable templates, so they could expand on what we created for additional promotional areas.
